To properly air-condition a room, the power required by the equipment to be installed must be calculated to achieve a comfortable temperature.

However, if we choose to perform a more complete calculation, we must take other factors into account: wall surfaces, ceiling, external temperature, glass surface, orientation, external shadows, geographic location, time of year, construction materials, etc. The power calculation must be performed by a certified professional.

The main difference between these two ranges is the power. In the domestic range we find lower power (2.5 to 7.0kW), while in the commercial range we find higher power (3.5 to 16kW).

Another difference we find is that in our commercial range there are only mono-split systems, while in the domestic range there can be mono-split and multi-split systems.

A mono-split system is always made up of just two machines, one indoor unit and one outdoor unit.

While a multi-split system, as the name suggests, is made up of several machines. In other words, several indoor units (max. 5 units) and just one outdoor unit.

Good maintenance is essential to ensure that the equipment works properly.

Maintenance of air conditioning units is extremely simple. The filters should be cleaned every 2 months with soap and water, or at least when changing from summer to winter and vice versa.

If possible, check the drain pipe where the condensate is discharged frequently.
